Zedony News Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

Zedony News is a news app for Android published by Surge Technologies. This policy explains what the app does with your information.

Information we collect

None. The app has no accounts and does not ask for your name, email, phone number, location, contacts or any other personal information. It contains no advertising, analytics or tracking libraries.

What the app does

It downloads news headlines and images from our server (zedony.com). Like any web server, ours records standard technical logs (such as IP address, time and app version) for security and troubleshooting. We do not use these logs to identify you, and we delete them regularly.

Data on your device

The app stores downloaded news and your settings (such as the refresh interval) only on your phone. Uninstalling the app removes them.

Links to other sites

When you open an article, it opens on the publisher's website, which has its own privacy policy.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If a future version collects any data, we will update this page before releasing it.
